Reed sorenson leaving ganassi?
i just heard on " the speed report" that reed sorenson is planning on leaving ganassi and going to evernham, and taking target with him as a sponsor. i've seen a few other reports of this being a possibility, but this is a bolt out of the blue to me. so that brings up lots of questions...how bad has ganassi become when they have to shut down operations on one car and a driver who has been loyal to chip for quite some time says he's looking elsewhere? then their 31st place driver says he's leaving and taking his sponsor too? is jpm next? do you see anyone taking over sorenson's ride? if so, who? does this mean evernham has a fourth team ready, or is something else brewing there?ICE, another great example i'm pretty sure that oil gas companies are not hurting that badly for money right now, and what better place for them to advertise than at a place where monster cars guzzle gas as 4 5mpg. is ganassi going under?

From what I have read the Petty Yates merger has left Reed Sorenson without a ride in 2010 and Jamie McMurray was released from Roush because Roush could not have more than 4 teams. I like both of these drivers, but I am not sure of their futures in NASCAR. I hope the mighty Mike Helton is happy displacing drivers with his 4 per team rule. He said he didn't want drivers losing their jobs and that is exactly what is happening.
