Yesterday I was describing a property in a deed, I wrote Busch instead of bush. I caught myself though on my recheck.

I cringe everytime I see people spell Rousch Racing, or when they call a race car a NASCAR, or a Sprint car well actually, I laugh at the Sprint car thing. I've been a Sprint customer for ten years.

Yeah and the opposite too. I have seen people spell it Bush...thats annoying. And the many different ways Earnhardt is misspelled. Also...this isn't spelling its pronounciation but I think it is Jeff Hammond when commentating says KAZlowski when it is pronounced just as it is spelled...Keselowski. Also I always hate when I see Lynyrd Skynyrd spelled worng. Disrespectful to the greatest group ever. Ok that last thing wasn't NASCAR.

Travis Kvapil (Kwah-pil) Ask anyone who doesn't know or never heard of him to spell his last name. They'll never get it.

I don't have a problem with misspelling as much as I have a problem with the way Larry Mac (or anyone else) butchers the English language. I like Larry Mac, but he talks like a hillbilly. His misuse and mispronunciation of words is embarrassing, especially because some folks still insist NASCAR is a redneck sport. Also, every time I hear NASCAR analysts refer to a pack of cars as a "gaggle ", I want to slap them. A gaggle is a group of geese that are standing on the ground, but "gaggle " is also one of the stupidest sounding words in the English language.
