I love Nascar but it would be very boring without any wrecks or funding between the drivers.

I don't watch nascar with wrecks, i won't watch it without. Loud dots going around an oval impress millions of minds in the states, but not this Canadian mind

No.. its all about the thrill of the great american sport!

I watch it for the skillful driving and engineering accomplishments. I can live without the wrecks. Paybacks do not require major wrecks. That is not a politically correct answer it is a true answer from someone that can recognize and appreciate skills.

What would be the point?

Hmm... Your question makes wonder why you've posted such a silly question. And to bring your friends with ya? Nascar is exciting! Fun! Go to a race! See what your missing! For your info, dare ya! And to answer your question, I watch every Nascar race that I can. Last season I may have missed maybe part of one.

It would be impossible for there to never be any wrecks in any type of motorsports. I watch racing for the competition. People who watch racing for wrecks, are the ones who say that racing is boring, because they don't understand the nature of competitive motorsports, and would probably have more fun playing a video game. As far as paybacks go, throughout the history of mankind, no one has ever been able to intervene aginst a mans will to attack another. Besides, I want to see Danica Patrick give and receive some paybacks. They can say no, and just pretend it was an accident (and cause a wreck)

No it is a great american sport.

I would, if they raced hard on the track. But, if that were to happen, I'd like to see the post-race fistfights... stuff like the Allisons had with Yarborough, or the Spencer-Busch feud.

Very questionable..but I do believe Carl should receive the stickiest of penalties..action were deplorable..#1 have to spend a weekend with Danika..then spend hours in a forum with Jr. Nation on how great their driver is, and abused by everyone..you know, bad crew chiefs, terrible Equipment, camouflaging his pits, etc...then to top it off, another weekend with Danika...

Absolutely! The wrecks actually scare me. I don't like to see them get hurt.

No, why would I. It would be ever boring. It is like any sport, there is always fights and paybacks.

Oh hell yes, people should not watch races just to see wrecks and paybacks.

There will always be wrecks . I have no problem when a driver makes a mistake or while racing for a position and a wreck happens. It is just when a racer has forgot about racing and is now on a payback mission. Like what Carl did .. he took matters into his own hands and it cost others beside the 12 car with his actions. He took a car that was 150 and messed up the last part of the race with his actions for some of the race teams. Parking carl was a empty punishment .. there was only 5 laps to go . he lost nothing . 1 spot or 3 points from where he would have finished .. The 12 car lost a top 6 finish and about 90 points. i would still watch . I am more likely to stop watching when nascar start showing special treatment towards some drivers over others .. Wonder If that had been a small team like robbie Gordon .. Would we have seen the same punishment handed out .
