Question: In nascar, to start the race do the folks yell gentleman or drivers "start your engines"? (Posted by: Jerry the Squirrel on 2010-03-10 19:17:13) I dont remember what they usually say: "Drivers start your engines! " or "Gentleman start your engines! " |

Posted by: homelessdonut on 2010-03-10, 20:03:43 I'd imagine they use both, except when there is a girl in the race (Danica Patrick, Chrissy Wallace) they might tell the Grand Marshal to say Drivers instead of Gentlemen just to not sound sexist. |
