Question: Did the 88/5 shop receive an overnight shipment of restrictor plates with elongated openings from nascar? (Posted by: Jrh88er on 2010-02-08 08:49:37) Wow, big surprise at the top two qualifiers fro the Daytona 500, just happens to be the shop that Rick Hendrick and NASCAR said they were going to pull out all the stops for. There speeds were off the charts from the other drivers. This smells to me like a return of the larger restrictor plates Jr enjoyed from 2001- 2004? Does anyone else sense a cheating conspriacy for Dale Earnhardt Jr? |

Posted by: GetReal on 2010-02-08, 09:36:22 Man you really need to lighten up. You get so worked up over Jr that you can't see straight. He's even in your user name. Wow. If you put this energy into something worth while you'd probably be real good at it. All you do is come up with conspiracy theories. Give it a rest. Please do every one including yourself a favor and stop watching NASCAR before you have a heart attack. |

Posted by: Glen J on 2010-02-08, 09:29:42 No that is BS if that would have been the case then why last year was Mark Martin so fast every week. I am no Jr fan either but he is fast at the restrictor plate races. If anything I think Hendrick would give the advantage to Gordon or Johnson who should be competing for the win at the end of the race!!! Also they are all locked in for the race so getting the pole at Daytona is usually a curse. Why would you want that!!!!!!! |

Posted by: ChevyPride0310 on 2010-02-08, 09:53:08 That settles it, like i've said many times before your obsessed with him and i think you "love " him, might as well admit it, your "hatred " of him is just a cover up, no other JR hater is actually obsessed with him like you are, its one thing to be a JR hater but its another to be obsessed, your the only hater i've seen on here or anywhere that's actually obsessed your so obsessed with him that you don't even ask questions about your favorite driver Kyle, and 9 times out of 10 any questions you do ask about Kyle still somehow has Dale Jr. in the question somewhere not even going to answer your question because its no use, your not going to believe any opinion that disagrees with your opinion dude, you seriously have a mental problem, not even joking around or trying to be funny, you really do and i seriously think you need help |

Posted by: Lucky Dog on 2010-02-08, 10:20:25 I have to agree with all the posts here. I don't get how anyone can be so obsessed and mad all the time about one person. Maybe your ID should be sour grapes. |

Posted by: Matt on 2010-02-08, 12:52:43 Oh great now you're hating on Mark now? Ok those guys had the better cars. If they were cheating, their Bud Shootout cars would've been fast, but they both had not-so-good finishes. NASCAR wanted to make the racing better, so they brought back a larger restrictor plate. Only these plates are bigger than the ones from 2001-2004, they are as big as the ones from 1989. I doubt NASCAR would be allowing teams to cheat before the season began. Dale Jr. and Mark Martin are more sportsmanlike than guys like Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch, who don't care about other drivers. I was actually suprised about Dale Jr. being #2. Mark wasn't a big suprise, with the momentum from last year. |

Posted by: Richard W on 2010-02-08, 14:17:39 Once again proving that you need to take NASCAR lessons.. If you knew how the plates were handed out, you wouldn't be making yourself sound so clueless.. It's done in public, with enough safeguards to make even the terminally paranoid feel secure... |
