Kyle Petty says that Danica Patrick is only in NASCAR because of her markability, not because of her skill as a driver. You're right Kyle, those slots are for untalented sons of great racers, damn it , not because of her skill as a driver.

Ok so this is a follow up to my other question rant whatever from earlier. All these people are talking marketability and ALL the other drivers besides JR have it because they win. Well I would beg to differ. In 09 drivers who are very " marketable" failed to win a single points race. These drivers would include Harvick, Burton, Bowyer, Biffle, Edwards and Juan Pablo Montoya. Funny how he should come up in this. Lets get to the facts. Juan Pablo won a International F3000 championship and a CART title in consecutive years. He's also the 1st driver who has won the CART title, Indy 500 and the 24 hr race at DAytona in his first attempt. Clearly he has talent as a racer and definitely has accomplished more then Patrick and I'm not arguing that. But, in 6 years in the IRL he only won 7 races and 0 championships. Since he came into Cup, although he made huge strides last year, he's only won a single road course race in 07. So he has been a very " marketable" driver who hasn't put forward the results in the WIN column specifically. He can drive and there is no question about that, but I remember a lot of people who questioned whether or not he could driver a stock car too. Also back to me being a completely idiotic unintelligient nascar fan. Last year only 14 drivers won points races and 7 of those drivers won a SINGLE race. This means that 8 drivers combined to win the other 29 total races. You do the math. That means a lot of drivers don't win, yet have marketability and keep the sport alive. If it were about winning and winning only then the way the last few years have gone they could put a 15 car field out there and get the same results. So I know I'm an idiot and DAle Jr is the ONLY driver who doesn't win who has marketability, but I think the sport has room for these drivers who don't win often to be in the sport. Who agrees? These are just the facts people and I'm not an unedumacated little kid. Matter of fact I would challenge anyone who takes Kyle Petty's side to show me some proof that I'm anything but an educated nascar person. Can you do this for me please? Clearly I have no idea what I'm talking about and maybe I will go back to the football section after I teach some of you nascar lessons like I did the football people. Dont just get pissed and say I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about. You know who you are. I came up with some numbers to back my statements. What can you back up?

Who is the worst son of a NASCAR legend, Dale Jr. or Kyle Petty?
I think we would all agree that Dale Jr. is incredibly overrated, since everyone expects him to follow in his dad's footsteps. Kyle of course is the son of the greatest NASCAR driver of all time. He hasn't won a race in nearly 15 years, won't ever win a race again, and has only 8 wins in about 30 years. Of course Dale Jr. already has 18 wins in about 10 years and broke a big winless streak last year. I still think it's arguable who of these 2 drivers is worse though, though probably Kyle is worse. What does everyone else think?
