Question: Does carl edwards have a stalker mentality? (Posted by: fluffy on 2010-03-08 05:02:15) The announcers explained that they fix cars and send them back out on the track to keep accumulating points. I don't think that's what was on Carls agenda. Maybe NASCAR should change the rules that if your over a hundred laps down, you have to have a psychiatric evaluation, in the in- field medical center, before they let you go back out. |

Posted by: Mark N on 2010-03-08, 05:12:07 My name is Brad Cowslousyonski's, and I learned alot today. I learned that it isn't so fun to push someone out of the way when, you are the one riding the fence... As the words of the LATE DEAD DALE Earnhardt, THAT "S RACIN, until it happens to you... FOUL, FOUL, FOUL... Don't mess with Carl, Edwards, he flies jets and will land a COW on your lousy house Brad... |

Posted by: CHUCK Bandit on 2010-03-08, 05:14:37 Carl's persistence after Kez in the Atlanta race (after he Carl wrecked) and went back out, was a lot like a stalker. Kind of reminded me of a madame who stalks me. But the amazing thing is I do not think Kez will give him pay back. Well the payback will be Carl feeling like an idiot, making an as$ out of himself at the race and really damaging his reputation. He did that all by himself. Good Kez is ok and thank gosh for the safe cars now. |

Posted by: john on 2010-03-08, 05:28:19 No carl does not have a stalker mentality. no matter how many laps your down you need to get back on the track to get as many points as possible. someone else may wreck and you could pick up some spots on the track. also it's important to remain in the top 36 in owners/ drivers points as the last 7 cars in qualifying must get in on time, (go or go home). the amount of money involved is huge in nascar that's why every point and position counts. now i suppose your talking about yesterdays race at hotlanta. those 2 have been going at it since talledaga last year. all the drivers will give you a pay back if you rough them up, rubbing is racing, bump-n-run, trading paint all at 200 mph. that's why they call it racing. it's not just carl needing a psychiatric evaluation in the in-field care center. all the drivers should get one before the race at the drivers meeting. and yes carl went back out to nail brad and he got him. i would have loved to seen the look on both their faces. have a good day race fan! |

Posted by: 1selkie on 2010-03-08, 05:46:08 I'm wasting my breath here, but if just about any other driver had done that, people would have been congratulating them for being aggressive and racing hard. Wanting to get even isn't mature, but it isn't a stalker mentality. And I'm not a Carl fan, either. |

Posted by: Chuck T on 2010-03-08, 05:57:58 Brad Keslowski has no respect for his peers so why should they have any for him , this isn't going to be the last time he pisses someone off and ends up paying the price.... |

Posted by: The fed up matthewâ„¢ on 2010-03-08, 06:05:14 Yes, Carl went back out on the track like a psychopath looking for blood. It wasn't really payback since the earlier incident in the race between them was 90% Carl's fault. Carl just wanted somebody to direct his rage at. |

Posted by: ♥ cat furrever ♥ on 2010-03-08, 06:10:19 Not stalker mentality, but i believe he dioes have anger problems and a mental problem. until yesterday, i WAS a fan. not no more. he knew exactly what would happen when he hit brad the way he did. brad was right that is not cool. i hope that nascar cracks down on him before a spectator or another driver gets killed. dale sr. would not have done it. he would've waited until after the race and decked the idiot. i hope that somehow all the negative responses get back to carl and he wkes up, before he does it again and leaves someone parentless, a widow or a widower |

Posted by: Winter Glory on 2010-03-08, 07:18:18 Carl would have passed the psychiatric evaluation, though. He's like a politician, he knows when to pour on the charm, he knows what all the right answers are when confronted with them. It's when he thinks no one is watching that his true colors come out. |

Posted by: ICE on 2010-03-08, 07:22:51 He may be manic depressive. He has extremely high mood swings then extremely low mood swings and it shows in his judgment of what actually happened on the track yesterday. He didn't look at the first incident with a clear mind. He wanted to blame his mistakes on someone else and flipping Keselowski was a byproduct of him going from an extreme high to an extreme low. "Extreme manic episodes can sometimes lead to psychotic symptoms such as delusions and hallucinations " en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Bipolar_disorder |
